At Hideaways International, Inc., we are committed to protecting your privacy. It is
occasionally necessary for us to collect information about you to process
orders and to provide a more personalized experience. We make every effort to
maintain the confidentiality of all information you provide us as part of this

This statement delineates Hideaways International's commitment to privacy
and discloses the information gathering and information dissemination practices
for Hideaways International and Hideaways.com.
What information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you Register online we capture and store your Name, E-Mail Address, Username, Password,
Password Hint, Security Questions and Answer, and E-mail Address. We optionally store your Address information
as well, if you wish, and explicitly enter that information into our systems.
This information allows us to effectively communicate with you, and allows us
to establish a unique record for you within our systems.

When you place an order, Reservation Request, or any other type of paid service
request, we capture and store your Name, Username, E-mail, Credit Card Type,
Credit Card Number, Credit Card Expiration Date, Credit Card CVV2 Information
(Captured and used for processing, but not stored), Billing Address, and Travel
Preference Data. This information allows us to effectively process any requests
or orders that you submit to our website. This information is stored using industry standard methods and techniques
and all confidential information such as Credit Card numbers are encrypted when stored in our system for added security.
Access to this level of confidential information is tracked within our system to further protect our clients.

When you submit a Property rating or a reservation request, we also ask that
you complete your Account Registration record with Address information, if it
is not already completed.

When you enter a contest or other promotion, we may ask for your address,
telephone number or other contact-related information so we can administer the
contest and notify winners.
How does Hideaways.com protect customer information?
When you place orders or access your account information, we use an SSL (Secure
Sockets Layer) connection to encrypt and protect your data. Furthermore, all of
the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access using
industry standard methods and techniques available including firewalls, encryption and hashing.
What about "cookies"?
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on
your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally
identifying information, but they do enable us to provide features such as
allowing you to log in to our site without typing in your username and password
each time. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually
change your browser to prevent that. Without a cookie, you will still be able
to use some of the features within our site, however your browsing experience is greatly enriched if you accept
the "Session" cookie from our servers for the duration of your browsing experience.
Will Hideaways International disclose the information
it collects to outside parties?
Hideaways will occasionally make its Client mailing list available to
high-quality providers of services that we feel will be of interest to our
clients if said client has opted in to such communications. All information
except name and address are excluded from this list. Clients may OPT-OUT of
this communication stream at any time by contacting Hideaways.com Customer
Service Desk at 800-843-4433, and requesting that Hideaways OPT them out of any
future third party communications, or by updating your online profile at
Hideaways.com.
Hideaways reserves the right to operate Co-operative Marketing program's on
Hideaways.com, and/or other websites managed by Hideaways International, Inc.. These
Co-operative Marketing programs will be branded as such, and the current rules,
terms, and/or conditions will be posted on each individual Co-operative
Marketing program. To enter the Co-operative Marketing program you must accept
the current agreement in place for that program. Each program will be
individually defined. For more information please see the rules, terms, and /
or conditions of each individual Co-operative Marketing program.
Hideaways reserves the right to transfer Client Contact Information to our
Co-operative Marketing Partner, in the event that said Client has agreed to the
rules, terms and/or conditions for that specific Co-operative Marketing
program, and those rules, terms and/or conditions allow for said transfer of
Client Contact information to our Co-operative Marketing Partner.
You may at any time decide to OPT-OUT of any and all Client Communications from
Hideaways International, except for the following exceptions:

If you submit a Vacation Request, then your Client Contact information as
defined in the above section will be provided to the Property or Property Owner, the Vacation
Request was sent to.

If you agree to the Rules, Terms, and/or Conditions of a Co-operative Marketing
program, and that program denotes that Client Contact Information will be
shared with the Co-operative Marketing Partner.

If you are a member of Hideaways International (Hideaways Aficionado) then
Member-Specific communications cannot be opted out of, as they are a paid
service. Examples include: Hideaways Guide, Hideaways Newsletter, Hideaways
Member Services communications via USPS mail.
Your consent
By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this
information by Hideaways.com. As defined in the
Terms of Use agreement, by your use of this site you
agree to be bound by the Terms of Use agreement as currently defined.
